Do you like power metal? Do you like movie/video game soundtracks? Well if so, look no further! Danish metal band (more like hard rock) Pyramaze dropped their new album Contingent on April 28th under Inner Wound Recordings.

From the very first note on the track “Land of Information”, Contingent has a large, in your face sound. Undeniable, quality music. With insane riffage and that sweet orchestral feel, the band definitely has a developed sound. Even up until the last track, which is also my favorite, “Symphony of Tears”, there is never a dip in quality. With an insanely talented vocalist, this album is definitely something everyone should hear.

There’s no other way to say this than to simply state that Contingent is not a rock or metal album, it is a movie soundtrack disguised as an album.  Contingent is a prime example that rock is not dead.
