France based hardcore group In Other Climes will be releasing a 7” titled Party Animal Advisory (Explicit Lifestyle) on August 18th, courtesy of Bastardized Recordings. This two-tracked release truly personifies the outgoing, reckless spirit that In Other Climes strives to express to their audience. In order to grasp the party-driven, alcohol inspired music they have to offer, start off here with their 2014 release, Live. Love. Learn. Lead. Leave.

Taking their signature sound and evolving from it, In Other Climes seem to have developed a more metalcore (and even progressive) tone and technique to Party Animal Advisory; groovy metalcore riffs over powerful, down-tuned, well rounded bass lines. To elaborate on the instrumental tracks, guitarists (Steve and Cyril) tend to change their play style throughout all of their releases, especially from Leftover (2016) to Party Animal Advisory. Within these two tracks, it becomes clear that future releases will definitely include a heavier and more rhythmic song structure, based off the fact this release holds these characteristics.

Party Animal Advisory epitomizes the “party metal” genre, even putting Attila’s Outlawed (2011) down in a heartbeat. Bow to the true pinnacle of upbeat heavy music, In Other Climes. This release will appeal to fans of hardcore to metalcore, and even elitists or those of which that only stick to a single genre.

Overall, Party Animal Advisory is a generally upbeat, powerful release. These two tracks will suffice in place for a full album, considering they are both pieced together with nothing but genius musicianship and premeditated intentions, only making it more than what you’re expecting. Make sure to pick up a copy on August 18th!
