Spain born melodic metal band Coffeine recently released their newest full length album Circle of Time courtesy of Fighter Records. With a heavy European influence in their sound, this band comes with some pretty interesting riffage throughout the album.

From the get go, Circle of Time states what it’s sound is. The riffs are heavily death metal influenced but the vocals compliment them well, although they are more melodic than one would expect from death metal. The idea that really caught my attention with this album was the fact that they reproduced a song in an orchestral version. “Life in a Showcase” was a really good song on this album, but the orchestral version was an amazing and genius idea, and pulled off very well.

Circle of Time is a melodic death metal lovers dream fileld with quality writing, brilliant performance, and a unique sound. The unique genre crossovers are sure to hold your attention and make you say ‘hmmm’ – in a good way. The European influence and melodic combination with death metal is sure to be a crowd pleaser.
