|It’s time for Through Lucid Eyes to showcase some of the musicianship that fans and metal-heads alike have witnessed in their previous EP, Transient, with a brand new playthrough of none other than the title track. For the release the band teamed up with Gear Gods, and the video can be viewed here.
The Canadian quintet definitely knows how to deliver, and they were able to provide fans a seamless performance on camera, courtesy of lead guitarist Ryan O’Grady. If you’re a fan of ERRA‘s musicianship and vocals or are looking for music with a meaningful message, this track is right up your alley: technicality meets melody and catchiness, all in one package. And if that doesn’t quench your thirst, the whole EP is available digitally and physically worldwide, so don’t fret, there’s more where this came from.
Guitarist Ryan O’Grady has also offered some insight on the track itself: “Transient was the first song Zach and I wrote for the EP, so it really forged a path for the others. Instrumentally, it was more progressive, and we were able to find a balance between the usual frantic guitar riffs and a newfound introspective style. As a contemplation of life’s seemingly ephemeral nature, Transient also provides framing for the lyrical themes present throughout the EP”.
