Who am I?

I’m your source of self-destruction….

okay, maybe not.

As far back as I can remember, I always wanted to be a gangster.  Err…..Guitar player. As most children, I was drawn to pop music when I was a little piss ant.  My, older and wiser, relatives would laugh and tell me that one day, when I was smarter, I would love rock music.  I could not fathom the idea of not listening to my favorite New Kids on the Block album, as loud as possible.  They had to be wrong; they were old and out of touch.

During a severe thunderstorm, at the tender age of 15, I was scrolling through radio stations and I happened to stop on a rock station, at that moment Megadeth’s “Symphony of Destruction” started to play.  The sound of the guitars, coupled with the thunderstorm sent shivers down my spine. My love affair with metal began that very day.  Soon after my Megadeth experience, I discovered the most influential band of my musical career….better yet, my life, Metallica.  I watched the “Live Binge & Purge” videos, James Hetfield with his Explorer THAT is who I wanted to be.  I told my mom and wanted a guitar.

Which leads us to the present; I am the lead guitarist of one of Detroit’s greatest rock bands, Through Our Eyes.  We started our journey in 2010 and released our full length album, “Welcome to Life” in December 2014.  I live, breathe, and sleep music.  It is my life, love, and passion.
In my free time you will find me behind the camera at local and national shows, capturing the world’s most talented musicians on film with my partner in crime, April Baggins.  I have had the pleasure to shoot bands from the legendary, Testament to newcomers, Sons of Texas.
